How can I redirect a file location without changing it in
the registry.
I want to put my favorites for Internet Explorer on a flash
drive and be able to go to any computer with XP and use
my favorites on my flash drive.
I tried using subst command but I can only redirect a folder
to a drive not...
Does anyone know how to make any brand flash drive (thumb/jump drive) work with Windows 95C.
I've tried several brands with the Win 98 drivers, but, as
I expected, they would work.
I've turned the spooling off.
No server or network...just stand alone desktop computer.
I can go to the printer on the task bar and usually
"eventually" stop everything, but not always and by
the time I go to the task bar and click on the icon, then
scroll down to the cancel ... too slow and...
Is there any way to make a shortcut to immediately cancel
printing of a document without having to go to the printer
icon and scroll down and cancel the print job or document?
Is there anyway to "clear" everything to the printer.
When I turn it off and then back on, it just starts printing...
I changed from full screen to maximized and then I could
click on the X in the upper right corner.
I made an X.cmd file...that works too!

Is there any way to use a function key or a single keystroke to "exit" from the Dos command prompt without
having to actually type the word "exit" every time?
I've tried to edit the registry to turn the caps lock on
when the computer boots by going to HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\CONTROL PANEL\KEYBOARD and then changing the initialkeyboardindicators to 3 (or 7) and exit.
Everytime I reboot the computer it changes the setting back to 2.
How can I turn the Caps...
I've tried the "like current folder" option and
also, "remember each folder's view settings"
& nothing changes...always goes back to original
setting.

both getting IE Script error messages on first page when
loading.

- Disable script debugging ON
- Display a notification about every script error OFF
It makes no difference at all.
On my new computer with XP pro and IE 6.0 sp2 I don't get
those script errors at all.
