I'm not that good at Crystal so this may be all wrong, but you may be able to use a Running Total field to calculate the Sum.

Not sure I understand your meaning. The users select which report they want. Stored Procedures return the data and the report is shown in the Viewer. Then if they decide to export it, the Stored Procedures are reruning. I need to find a way to stop this second run.
