thanks for the clarification, does the RFP get added to the 3300 as a SIP device? from the connection description you gave I assume this to be true?
I guess I'm trying to find out how the 3300 would be "aware" of the RFP.

Is it just a SIP end point to which dect devices can connect to?
Do you need any licensing for the Mitel 3300?

I would like to manually failover any IP sets on the primary controller to the secondary controller. These are two 3300 devices Running 7.1 PR2 / 13.1.0.38
I require moving the IP trunk to a different switch on the primary controller.
Can a failover be done gracefully aswell?
