Thanks for the reply. Yeah I am in Design View. I had tried what you suggested , but it was unsuccessful. It would only exclude the first NOT record.

Thank you for your reply but I need a simple solution. I did what you said to lookup help but to be truthful I didn't understand...
Sorry I'll try and explain a little clearer, using Microsoft Access is a pretty new deal for me.
I know that if I want to exclude a single record from a query I can put a criteria in that says Not "Paul Street".
I don't know what to put in the criteria to exclude multiple records...
I have a table with an address field. There are multiple records under this field eg Smith Street, Brown Street, Paul Street, etc. I want to create a query that will exclude multiple records under the address field. Eg The query will exclude all the entries that have Smith Street and Brown...
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I am REALLY new to Access and Visual Basic stuff. The only part I understood was copying the info into a module, which I have done.
What do I need to do now ???
I know it must be frustrating trying to explain something to a total novice . I really...
I have a table that contains fields that have spacesbetween the data. eg A field containing mobile numbers has been entered as 0123 456 789.
I want to setup an expression in the criteria of a query that prompts the user to enter the mobile number they are searching for. Inevitably the user will...

Wanting to purchase a external (usb) cd burner. Most of the tech specs state that they support either USB 1.0 or USB 2.0. Can anyone tell me how to find out what is on my desktop and laptop ? Don't have any tech manuals for the d/top or l/top. Is there a utility(free) available that you can run...
Thank you to Ma5 and Frank for their replies.
The long file names are required as the cds burnt are extract of points of law. These inevitably are long names to each document.
Will try a version of EZCD.
Thanks again

Can anyone suggest a good off the shelf product that enables the burning of data with file names starting at 128 length and go up to 200 characters. Using a Mitsumi CR4801TE Burner. The burner is at the moment in a NT Box , but has the possibility of being in a WIn95,2000 or XP box.
Thanks

Trying to source a viewer for Word 2002(XP). Can find them for Powerpoint and Excel but not Word. Found a converter but no viewer. Searched through Microsoft's site but unable to find one.
If anyone can help would be much appreciative.

Thanks for the fast reply!! I need more than just a viewer. Example: with adobe you can create a "form" email to someone who has adobe reader the person can open the form and input data into fields. Need the same functionality. Now I don't know if this is then reliant on the form ...
Looking for a product similiar to Adobe Reader, but for Microsoft Office Products? Looking to develop forms for our Intranet and trying to save some $$$$$ on licenses.
Thanks for the info. I had tried this before I updated the service packs and it didn't work. But just tried it then on the NT workstation and it works beautifully. Any advice for the Win2000 workstation ??
The NT workstation that is "not working" has the exact setup as a working NT workstation - except of course the computer name. It has the same TCPIP settings , the working pc has service pack 5 - I have tried service packs 3 , 5 and 6a on the non-working pc to no avail.
Thanks for the...
