    I'm running Win98se and can't boot my computer to windows due to missing .vxd's even using a start up disk. I have read most of the vxd threads listed here and plan to restore to a previous registry backup. My question is will data in office programs be lost using this method? Thanks in advance.

    On what parts of my computer should I update the drivers? Since I am somewhat computer challenged I will stay away from the Bios.
