The problem does not seem to be which player I use. These files used to be playable on the appropriate player (Windows Media, Quicktime, Real, etc.) Now it crashes on ANY wmv or similar file. I have 512MB RAM, 933Mhz PIII, and WinXP SP2. Also, the problem does not seem to be affected by...
Has anybody ever heard of a problem with video files causing the processor usage to immediately go to 100% and lock the system? Seems to happen with all formats (wmv, avi, mov, rm, etc) and all players (Windows Media, Apple Quicktime, Real Realplayer, etc.) I have tried every anti-virus...
