    I spoke to veritas who confirmed that you were correct. We currenlty have the standard version of 8.6, and you require the Advanced version for W2K Advanced Server. I am now in the process of getting the upgrade version from 8.6 to 9.0 as ver 9.0 will allow you to backup Advanced Servers.
