I have access to an insurance company web site (inquiry). I can get to the web site alright but when I put in my username and password and please enter the site comes up but I can't see it. I mean at the bottom of the screen it says done but there is nothing there to see.
I need to know who to restrict the amount of characters must be entered in a field. I have a field where you must enter the vin number of a vehicle. I want to make it so that you must enter exactly 17 characters.
Thanks..we will try that.
However, the only table that is not linked is the data files, is that where the change should be made?
Do we need to remove the link in the linked table before the change will take effect?
Ok...now..I want to remove a link from the table where the field lives that I need to make the change.
How do I remove the link and still be able to get into the table to make the change?
I work for a company who stores bit of data in a linked table.
We would like to make a change to one of the fields in this linked table.
I know that when you delete a link you don't delete the table but it does disappear when you do that. How do I make the change to the linked table if I can't...
So, the data type needs to be changed in the main form correct? I can't change it once it is in a query or report form, right?
Thank you very much for all your help.

I have added a subform to my form that contains only 2 yes/no fields.
I use it to run reports that tell me rather I have paid a vendor nor not using the yes/no fields in my subform.
