errrr, think i was not clear enuf. The Brooktrout has a single port RJ11 socket (analog). What I want to know is how to connect the darn thing to IP Office. The only ~RJ11 sockets that exist on my Avaya system are the ports on the IP400 Digital Station that u plug Avaya 4412D+ phone...
When you either dial in a the shortcode manually or program a DSS key to Dial a shortcode (*35) to login to a phantom extension, the phone then stays offhook. To start receiving or making calls, u then have to either lift up and set down the phone handset, or u have to press the "Spkr" button...
What do u mean the phone module? ARe u saying that u need to make a physical connection between IP412 and the fax board. If so, I looked at the physical equipment and there appears to only be RJ45 connections in the back, not RJ11. Maybe I misunderstood. Could u clarify exactly what u mean?
