PROCOMM is easier to use for script running and for capturing, especially when I'm working on 2 SL-100's and 2 Meridian 1's. It also lets me save customized keyboard setting I can switch to at the click of a mouse.
And I can save a connection directory to cover my telnet, modem, IOM, TTY, and...
I am wanting to keep TGAR/TARG and FRL combination due to our broad spectrum of NCOS here on the DSN network.
In LD 87 I have TGAR set to yes so I use both.
I have no problems with calls going out if they have a high enough NCOS and they aren't blocked by TGAR/TARG.
If TGAR and TARG match...
I have an M1 Opt 11 C that i have a minor issue with..
When a phone is blocked by TGAR/TARG, it gets a fast busy tone...which is good.
When a phone is blocked by just FRL, it gets a prompt for an auth code, which is bad. I want it to get blocked the same as any other blocked call and it poses...
I use procomm to on my MM13 we still have here in Okinawa,
F1=^[OP
F2=^[OQ
F3=^[OR
F4=^[OS
F5=^[[21~
Also some times the back space doesn't work for MSM on emulators so you can use
Backspace=^H
You should have a keyboard editor in most emulator software.

So I should use the CLAN for Call Pilot Private LAN interface or the ELAN?
Also, the IP Address of the MIRAN works with the ELAN you say? If I change it so I can use the browser interface from my remote PC, it won't work properly?
My OTM currently plugged from it's COM1 port into M1 SDI port...
Thank you all, i'm headed up to our remote site tomorrow to look into this.
I'm wanting to make my OTM, Call Pilot, and Switch accessbile remotely via Private Ethernet instead having to dial into the Switch through a TTY or using PC Anywhere through dial up.
But our IP Scheme uses...
What is the E-LAN used for?
I noticed it connects to OTM port with IP Address 137.135.128.251 It comes from J5 where my call pilot is (137.135.128.250
What is C-LAN for?
it has IP address on Call Pilot 10.0.0.1
What is the ethernet connection to P1 SELV for? Is that ethernet port into M1...
I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not for this one.
We have an IPE that uses two DS-30A Links #6 & #7 of the SL-100's LGC 0
The IPE keeps going Sysb and the Msg links keep closing, and it looks to happen around times when call traffic is beginning.
This causes all phones to die...
It's not routing to call pilot in both situations. (calling a station and fwd'ing to Voice mail & if you try to call and check your mail.) It worked about 2 weeks ago and just quit.
Our Call pilot is in card slot 9 of Cab 00. I'm not to familiar with a lot of the loads, but when I print DNB...
Yes sir, it is a military site.
I've talk to some other switches and they have not been able to put atvn and tie on the same TMDI card together. We only hvae 1 TMDI PRI right now so my M1 can't access commercial because it depends on the SL-100 to go on the Public Network.
What other...
My next question is based on my Ie Shima M1, it has 1 pri going to the SL-100 adn can only do autovon and doesn't have anyway to access the commercial world that the 100 provides for it.
It has TN 002 01-23 all atvn and that is rte 1.
1. can i take ch some of those channels and make them into...
how do i change TN 001 20-23 and make a new route 4 out of those channels. LD 14 or 16?
Does it require busying any those channels out
right now: TN 001 01-05 rte 1 tie & TN 001 05-23 rte 3 tie
TN 002 01-23 rte 2 atvn
Can a trunk group be split into multiple routes?
TMDI-PRI TIE Trunk
TN 001 01-05 Route 1
TN 001 06-11 Route 2
TN 001 12-17 Route 3
TN 001 18-23 Route 4
Does it require multiple D-channels or can they all use 24 for D-channel?
thank you all for your insight. I only have 2 trunk groups going out of my M1 and they both go to the SL-100. One group is used for autovon ATVN (DSN) and the other is for Commercial calling (IBN2W).
my commercial trunk group is split into 2 routes, one for calling card, local, long...
OUR CALL PILOT WAS WORKING CORRECTLY AFTER INSTALL, BUT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY WE FOUND OUT YESTERDAY WHEN WE TOOK A TRIP OUT TO OUR M1 LOCATED ON IT'S LITTLE ISLAND CALLED IE SHIMA.
WHEN YOU CALL IT FROM A LOCAL MERIDAN 1 PHONE OR FROM A PHONE HANGING OFF OF AN SL-100, IT ROUTES THE CALLER...
SO IF THE TGAR ON THE PHONE SET (PRINTED OUT ON LOAD 20 TNB)
MATCHES THE TARG FOR THE ROUTE (PRINTED OUT IN LOAD 21 RDB)
THAN THE CALL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ROUTE DOWN A SPECIFIC
REGARDLESS OF THE FRL? FROM WHAT YOU SAY IT SOUNDS IT ONLY
APPLIES TO ACCESS CODE DIALING (I.E. AC1=99) I...
