    it should not be problems.anyhow if you have problems(like packages errors or unable to save config)use this boot options ide=nodma apm=off ide=nodma(you should do it with this one in case...) apm=off acpi=off acpi=oldboot pci=acpi

    Driver for DSL-USB-modem

    try the eci-adsl forum or flashtux.org.they have some good drivers.you might have some problems with the synch files syncronization files that is.you might have to do them by yourself.it's simple if you are a little handy with linux.

    win xp cant boot after redhat 8.0 installation.:-(

    There is another one.Install first 98 then linux&after that xp(as an upgrade to 98).it is a little bit time consuming but works with suse.&since linux must lsb compliant i do not see any problem.or use lilo as frogyj
