    It depends on what you're getting - if your machine is relatively clean, Spybot will generally just pick up cookies. So if that's all you're getting, weekly is fine. Also, be sure to use the immunize feature!

    Spybot and AdAware catch different things - you should use both of them. If you're having trouble downloading updates from Spybot - before you download, select a different mirror - I think the default is in Germany - pick one in the USA.
