    The best way that I have found to handle this is to use Sysinternals program called Process Explorer at: http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml It's fairly intuitive just be careful not to Kill a process that might not enjoy having the rug jerked out from under it. Ken
