I have been backing up a NAS Drive for the past year or so with Arcserve 11.5. Recently I have moved the backup to another server and have also upgraded to version 12. The backup is working fine apart from when trying to access the NAS Drive. It does not have any security enabled so is...

I currently have Arcserve v11.5 running on my server. I have recently added another server but have installed the agents from the Arcserve v12 cd. Would this cause any issues when trying to log in to the agents from the old v11.5 server to the new v12 server?? I am receiving the "Failed to...

Arcserve 11.5 SP2 Unable to backup dhcp files (J50.log)

I have the OFA installed on the Windows 2003 Server where Arcserve is installed and runs from.. The DHCP folder which it struggles to backup is on the other server which is running 2000. Does the OFA agent have to be installed on each server?? Regards, David.

Arcserve 11.5 SP2 Unable to backup dhcp files (J50.log)

Ok. I have just modified the job to exclude the files in the dhcp folder. I would rather backup the files but until someone has another fix I will just do it this way. Hopefully all will go well tonight. Thanks all for your quick responses. David.

Arcserve 11.5 SP2 Unable to backup dhcp files (J50.log)

I have only been at my current position for just over a month and so do not have much experience with Arcserve. Would I have to use the exclude filter when modifying the Job? Is there an actual option to exclude DHCP or do I have to select the folder/files manually? Sorry to be a pain but a...
