Hi everybody!
Sometimes just asking the question can give you the answer!
After I made the last post, I got to thinking. Since the IDE is controlled by the wd driver, maybe this would work:
defbootstr link=ad320 Srom=wd(0,0,0,0) Sdsk=ad320(0,0,0,0)
My thinking was that using the Srom=...
Hi All:
I have: SCO Openserver Host 5.0.4, and Adaptec 39320 SCSI adapter with a hard drive and tape drive connected. I also have an IDE CD-ROM drive.
During install, the hwconfig screen shows the cd-rom as scsi id=5, but there is no scsi cd. It does not list the IDE CD, though it does...
Hi All:

Hi there:
Too bad for the Panics, but good that it's a new install...

I wonder how many patches there have been since 5.0.4 was released... :)
Thanks for you help.
Oh, sorry... one more thing.
I was able to get tino ftp.sco.com, but there weren't any adaptec drivers there. I expected there would, since sco supports adaptec with supplied drivers...
Thanks!

I'm trying to install an Adaptec SCSI card, 39320D-R into SCO OpenServer 5.0.4.
The only drivers on the Adaptec site are for 5.0.7, and I don't know if that should work. I've never had to, or tried to, use drivers on previous versions.
The SCO and Caldera...
Hi all!
I'm taking over administration of a Netware server, using Backup Exec version 8.5.4108 to manage the backups onto DDS4 DAT tapes.
The previous administrators have labeled tapes with only "Monday", "Tuesday", etc., but with no dates. Although they rotate the same...
