Felix, you may well be correct, however, since all I did was to lift a previously working monitor out and set this one in, I feel like I'm OK from the PC to the end of the video cable.
I'm also kind of baffled that a brand new monitor could have made it off of the assembly line in this kind...
Thanks Mick. I appreciate your reply. Guess I should have mentioned that I have 3 computers on an A/B switch, so it's a simple matter to switch video cards, so to speak. I'm sorry to report that I get the same results on all three. Guess it's back to the monitor drawing board
