No problem. Unfortunately I just tried to connect to the DB25 on the backpane, but wasn't able to. I had a regular null-modem cable, and my baud rate was set to 9600 on COM1, but MatWorx just kept saying it couldn't connect. The PBX doesn't have to be in a special mode does it? Right now...
Okay, I turned the switch to 6, but it took all the phones out, and I was unable to connect in CAT mode. Also I was unable to get in via the network interface on MatWorx. Do I need a direct serial connection to the PBX on MatWorx to get this to work?
If I go into CAT mode, and type E9 which sets the password, and then type 7 for the password level, I get *DATA ERROR*. Will this not appear when I switch the processor dial to 6?
Someone at our company apparently botched the password in the PBX. I am able to connect, but not able to get into password level 7, so I can't set anything. I used MatWorx to backup the system after the fact (of course :( ).
