Unfortunately I have already done that, and that is how I have been able to see the drive as an 8GB drive. I have all of the drive specs from IBM and it is not working. Are there any known issue with using large drives in Solaris 2.8?- diskguy

I am looking for any information regarding the use of large hard drives with Solaris 2.8. I am currently trying to setup a JBOD of 75GB IBM hard drives, however "format" is unable to determine the drive type and when I enter the Cylinder/Heads/Sector info the drive size comes up as...- diskguy
