Thanks for the replies! Anyone can think of a way to program the system so that even though the lines are set to appear/ring on all sets, you can still pick the handset and not have it answer the ringing line? The client had their old system go bad and swears that he had this ability before.
I have a Norstar CICS with phones configured to app/ring on each line for each phone. Currently, when a call comes in, anyone that picks up their handset answers the call. How can I program it so we can pick up the handset then select the line manually the answer the call?
Thanks so much for...
Right now when I press Feature 986 + internal speed dial, the caller is put on hold. If I press Feature 986 + mailbox number, it works fine. Now, is it suppose to work with the internal speed dial as well? I do recall one customer that was able to do so. Any help will be appreciated!
Maybe I'm not phrasing my question correctly. Is VoIP trunk used when connecting two PBX's such as two BCMs? Or is VoIP trunking for when the lines are from a VoIP carrier like Vonage?
I purchase a BCM50 with authorization codes. However, the vendor does not have access to the KRS. Does anyone know a way of registering on the Nortel site without having to purchase a contract with them. I don't want to do anything illegal...it just seems silly to purchase a system for a few...
Has anyone used VoIP Trunk Lines for a BCM50 or any BCM for that matter? I wanted some information on what VoIP services work and how to set it up. Thanks!
I acquired a BCM 50 1.0 and the nnadmin password has been changed. Anyone went through the process of resetting this password? I can get into telset fine.
