Is there a shared place where the staff that need access to the file can access? If so, you can place the .csv file in the shared location, create an ODBC connection and point the report to that connection.
That is correct - the same workstation - the same ODBC connection - just a different login. The DBA assures me that both login accounts have the same privelages.

I am using Crystal Reports XI - when I connect to a database using the ODBC connection with a specific login - it shows me tables, views but not stored procedures. I can connect using another login and I can see tables, views and stored procedures.
