Missing HDD space
Well............wahnula I am not trying to nuke my partition as there is data that I need. I am very curious as to what has happened to about 70 gis of space on a 100 gig partition. Disk mgmt also show the partition to be healthy. It shows as an "extended" partition. Wonder if that has anything...- hadavidi

Its a standard Win XP Home edition that was OEM. I will try dban and report what I find.- hadavidi

I did and it shows that this particular partition has about 90 + GB and that only about 17 GB available. I am not sure what the heck is going on.......- hadavidi

Missing HDD space
Hi all I have a Lenovo J115 Desktop, which has a 250 Gb Hard drive. I used PQMagic to partition the drive into 3 partitions. A 50 GB Sys partition, a 100 GB App partition and data each. The Application partition, which is supposed to be a 100 GB partition shows that there is only 10 GB free...- hadavidi
