I have a customer whose O/S (SCO UNIX 3.2 V4.2) bypasses Single-User mode after hitting Return from the Boot: prompt.
The PC then gets stuck in a loop of "INIT: Command is respawning too quickly". If I can get into Single-User mode from the Boot: prompt, I think I have the best chance...
It really is a multi-dimension array of variants rather than a recordset. I figured the best way to do this would be to populate a CDO recordset from the array and pass that in to the report. What do you think?

We are using dosformat /dev/fd0135ds18. The real puzzle is that it works on some PCs but not on others. The PCs are 'nearly identical' (same manufacturer, same model number, but cards and devices can change).

Has anyone had a problem using dosformat with SCO UNIX System V, 3.2 Version 5.0.4?
Most of our PCs run this command without a problems, but some consistently fail to format a floppy using 'dosformat' (although they all consistently format a floppy using 'format').
We have ADO wrapped in our own data access layer. We have a number of reports originally designed to use MS Access queries direct from the database. Now I'd like to be able to pass an array of data into a report instead of the report having direct access to the database.
Any ideas? I wondered...
