yes, new problem. NAV alert to Trojan in two files that I cannot find. Symantec suggested I re-boot in Safe Mode to run Virus Scan....so I tried But?
Tried Safe Mode but the machine froze after 'starting windows' with the white bar on the black screen appeared. [then nothing happened]. I did...
Every time I try to start the machine up with 'safe boot' it freezes. F8 at start-up gives me the option screen. Then I press Return with Safe Boot highlighted and the machine freezes?
Solution/suggestions please?
Using Norton Anti Virus 2002 in Windows 2000 Professional, I get a message:
Trojan infected C:\WINNT\System32\explore.exe
and C:\WINNT\System32\v32driver.bat [or dll]
It is 'unable to repair' and 'denied access' to these two files.
I cannot find these two files using 'search' And...
