If you mean the folder on the server where the database is then yes. Its set to share with all restrictions removed etc. Nic- nicnet21

Hi, I would have preferred to split the database but I couldnt get the front end copy to open that I copied to the on users machines. It was looking for the back end copy address which I guess is because of the linked tables but no way could I get any further. So advice from this forum suggested...- nicnet21

Hi, I am using MS Access 2000 un split across 5 machines, Server is Win2000 the rest are XP. Using Tomcats advice I managed to get all users to open the database on the server by making all machines exclusive and locking all records including the server.
