I guess I a mean to say that it is now working. I fixed it. I am not sure exactly how my attempt worked this round, but it did. So this issue is solved.
So the magic Magix configuration seems to be.
No TEI. Merlin-Netwk for the Switch Type. Direct to UDP for inbound Dialing. I am not sure what the Network Services is set to. I am going to print it out and see what it says.
The Dialogic is using 5ESS.
It is always helpful to just come out...
So the key to letting the Dialogic call to extensions is to have incoming routing set to "Routing by Dial Plan". Dialing out through ARS or directly to the Trunk Pool still gets the "User Not Found" message on the Dialogic.
Hello all, I am once again trying to make the Magix do something it can do, but that I do not know how. Some history. Have moved the Magix to a PRI from an old CAS line. We now have 100 DID's, most of which we are not using, yet. Our PRI is only used at about 50% capacity (peak used channels...
I probably need help. The LineTrunks>PrncipalUsr seemed promissing, but I enter 511 for the line I am testing and then 399 when it prompts:
"Enter principal ext for Remote Forward/Coverage" in SPM, it just beeps at me.
I thought maybe it was because there was a QCC Oper setup for Trk 511, but I...
Does anyone know of someone in the St. Louis area that do work on the Merlin Magix? Or if anyone feels comfortable making this change remotely (I can not guarantee that there is any remote access configured). My primary vendor got knocked down when he actually said this in an email:
"I was...
Well as a test I assigned line 511 to Calling Group 777. I set 777 to Overflow to 770 after 1 second. I associated 777 in the voicemail with Auto Attendant #4. When I call it still goes to the operator. But I am having someone come in. Hopefully I can understand from them what it is I am...
I know there is a lot of discussions on this topic, but I am not finding exactly what I need. Part of that might be that my ignorance far extends what I know about it.
My goal is to take several trunks/pools that ring an Operator Console (x101) and make them go straight to Auto Attendant 4...
The 8 and 72 Pools are Foreign Exchanges or some other term which means they are just lines that exist in a different area code. People in those areas dial them for local access to us and people in the building dial them to make local calls to those areas. I am not sure if ARS could handle...
Well... I spoke a little early. That fixed ARS, but the 8 and 72 are Pools (renumbered?) and they still forward to the operator.
I will keep digging, but if anyone has a though, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jeremy
Well I got brave and assigned a 2 to trunks 549-572 and it resolved my issue. Thanks again for at least just letting me throw my ideas out here and validating that I was heading in the right direction.
Thanks,
Jeremy Gruen
Maybe this is my problem and sorry to keep throwing out these things. Switch Identifiers? It does not appear that I have one defined for the trunks on my PRI (549-572). This is another area where I am pretty ignorant. Can I give them a number of 2? It is not a Avaya anything (dare I speak...
Thanks for your response.
Just to make sure that I am on the same page:
Sys Program->LinesTrunks->RemoteAccss and set TIE and Non-TIE to Unrestricted under Restrictions.
If that is what you are saying then I have changed it without success (reference printout in my second post), but I have not...
I did go back through and follow the recommendations in the Merlin Network Reference and set the Remote Access up as follows:
REMOTE ACCESS (DISA) INFORMATION
GENERAL OPTIONS ACCESS CODE: 589
Barrier Code required for Non-TIE DISA lines: Yes
Barrier Code...
This is probably answered 10 times on here, but I did not find it. I apologize if I am just being thick.
I have a Merlin Magix 1.5 R6.0. It has a T1 trunk and some various other analog trunks. Dial 6 to get the T1. 72 and 8 to get to the other analog lines.
I have just added a T1 PRI between...
