Preloading doesn't preload
It's tough to say what your problem is exactly, but I'll throw a few ideas at you... Maybe the creation of the movie and preloader needs to be made without the picture? How do I make sure I have the right original Flash files for editing?
Well, you've been kind of screwed by the other designer, i makes it really hard to update content without the original .fla files. Feathered images importing into Flash
Use Photoshop 5.5 and instead of a JPEG use .PNG. Zoom and Blur Text onto stage
Well, so far I have only found those kinds of text effects in Swish 1.51. www.flashkit.com Unless you made several transparent .pngs with the different levels of blur and just put each new one in a keyframe. You can download the trial of Swish but it wont publish unless you buy it. Approx...- epic
