    IE closes when address is put in bar

    Help! When I type an address in the address bar without the "HTTP://" or ".com" my browser closes. I reset all the options to default and even installed IE 6.0 to try and remedy this. It did not work. I am running windows 2k pro with 512 ram, no probs there. Thanks Tomcat025
