    Group Select Problems

thanks again! I was making it harder on myself by specifying a date() in the select expert. Now it is looking right at the parameter.

    Group Select Problems

One more question if I may. Is there a way to get the select formula to accept a parameter field reference when it wants a date-time format?

    Group Select Problems

Excellent tip. I entered all the feild they need. That's especially good since the feild may expand later if that dept adds any more service employees. I also left the browse table and browse field blank. So far so good!

    Group Select Problems

I have a grouped report, but whenever I set up a parameter selection to choose the groups in select expert I get different records showing as the default values. I am using the same field from the same table for the group AND the parameter, but the results do not match. Any suggestions?

    Subtracing the previous record

Thanks! I got the time totals to show. It's also subtracting the end time of the last group from the start time of the next, but I think I can figure out how to suppress it. Heather :)

    Subtracing the previous record

Does anyone know of a way to subtract the previous record, or the 1st record in a group? I have grouped times showing departure & arrival, but need to find a way for the report to calculate the elapsed time. It seems there should be a way, but I cannot find it. Thanks for any help!
