Thank you all for your ideas. I have figured out the probmlem. When the laptop was taken out of the docking station before the IBM Think Pad option defaulted back to normal, so i had to go into Think Pad options and just set full screen to enable. Thank you all again Moxx

Yes I tried that too. What's strange is that it was full screen one day and the next day it's was running minimized. The user of the system said all they did was shut down the computer and removed it from the docking station. Moxx
