Cisco 8841 IP Phone - SIP - Asterisk
Thanks of the response, but interim I got a chance to talk to Cisco TAC, and they suggested to exchange the phone itself, since TFTP is only to upgrade same type of firmware, to have the phone connected to Asterisk, we need to have 3PCC firmware and using TFTP that can upgraded to higher version...- angopal

Cisco 8841 IP Phone - SIP - Asterisk
Hi, I have 8841 Cisco IP Phone. And the phones comes with sip88xx.11-0-1SR1-2. Looks this is SIP firmware. Can I directly configure with Asterisk system? or still I have to use the TFTP setup to upload some firmware and work on? Can someone used Cisco IP 8841 phones with Asterisk. Thanks in...- angopal
