Additional info :
Driver : MERANT Datadirect Connect 3.70
Client software : MS Access 2000 SP1
Problem occurs ONLY if i use File DSN instead of System DSN
In system DSN i can configure the connection with
DefaultDateFormat=DMY

I am using version 3.70. I don't think ODBC config is the problem because other queries are running fine including fields in the date/time format but i will recheck anyway
I am using MS Access 2000 to create a query using Merant ODBC for Progress. I get the following error
- Datetime field overflow -
I can't change table properties in Progress.
Is there a workaround so i can still put this field in my query
This might help you(if you haven't it done before)
Change in MS Access on your Query definition - go to Query Properties - change RecordSet Type = Snapshot(if you don't want to update) and rise your ODBC Timeout setting
