Hello all,
I was wondering if there was a way for a Nortel CS1000 to warn me, through email, or page, etc. if I have a route where all trunks busy is being encountered.
I don't know if TM, or SNMP would be able to do this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I've finally had some time to look at this, and was in the process of changing this T1 from DID to TIE, but the Nortel gives a me SCH0520 code at the CBCR prompt.
DGTP pri
ISDN YES
MODE pra
IFC ni2
CBCR no
SCH0520
CBCR
I'd prefer not to use CBC if possible, since I don't know much about...
Thanks for the info, guys. I will try changing them to tie, I thought I had problems doing this initially which is why we selected DID. But I didn't know about the msg trick. I'll give it a shot...but need to get some downtime to do it. Thanks again!
It dials the last 4 digits of the numbers sent, 3142, which happens to be an entry in our CDP for another location. We want to send the whole number, 914143033142, so it goes to UDP, sees the 9, and looks up the RLI in AC1. Then the call should go out our local PRIs to the CO.
Hi all,
We have an NEC 2000 connected to a Nortel CS1000 via NI2 PRI. We could not use QSIG because the hardware we had on hand for the NEC couldn't do it, and I wasn't allowed to spend any more money.
The PRI works great, we can send calls from the NEC to the Nortel and vice versa, EXCEPT...
I'm a bit red in the face as I just found out the version of software I am running on the NEC does not support QSIG. What would the best practice be to connect these 2 PBXs? We would prefer a d-channel with our T1. The NEC can handle NI2, at&t 4ess and 5ess, and DMS 100 and 250.
I would...
Hey John, thanks for the quick reply. I set my RDB, D-channel, and trunks the way you had in your other thread. The d-channel would not establish. Then I realized that I have the NEC set to be the USR side, so I changed the ADAN prompt SIDE to NET and the D-channel came right up.
Now the...
Hello all,
I checked the forum and couldn't find much info on this. I am trying to connect a QSIG T1 between a Nortel CS1000/81C and an NEC 2400 ICS. I am more versed on the NEC side than the Nortel. Has anybody been able to successfully accomplish this? If so, can you post your RDB, ADAN...
Jason, yes you can telnet to the MOC. Check out the webpage 2000stuff.com and go to the cheat sheets section. Then click on "Using something other than Matworx to Program". That tells you how to telnet to the 2000s via MOC. I've tried it, and it works. However, it doesn't use the same keys...
