Database Setup and Size
I am new to Warehousing in that we have been mostly OLTP and speed is of benefit. Is there anyone who can help give recommendations to the setup of a database that will contain 3,000,000 rows of Data Approx 550 bytes. Should I use table partitioning, how should I use it. Installing Patches
I too know that there is a 8.1.7.1 patch and have been looking for it also. However, I believe that until you have an issue/problem with the database server, Oracle support will not give you the patch. If you do get it I would like it as well.- robhalabicki
