    I not sure I understand. What i'm thinkin is that I'll need to call USR and ask them how to do with thier modem, since i'm not using a winmodem (for $80 bucks I was hoping for more than four pages worth of documentation).

    Correct me if I'm wrong but the V.92 standard let a modem recieve an incoming call as a vioce message. At least that's what my modem claims to do. Is it possible to do this with Linux? If so how do I set it up.
