For business reasons, I need to stick with WIN2K and IIS, so no UNIX vs MS wars here. I want to put together the best servlet development platform that I can under WIN2K with IIS as the web server. I also don't want to have to dicker forever trying to make the Java Servlet development IDE work...
In MS VC++ or in the Visual Studio Tools subdirectory, run the Ole/COM viewer. The COM objects are grouped by component category. You should be able to find the version, CLSIDs, and IIDs
