Unfortunately, I have found no event logs that relate to this connection failure and I have looked at both ends of the connection several times to generate something that would help. Thus far, I've found no flippin clues!

Scenario:
We have two Domains.
Domain A is an NT 4.0 PDC domain. A couple of standalone servers in this domain have Windows 2000 server on them.
Domain B is a Windows 2000 AD Domain. It is running in Native mode. A full two-way trust is in place between domains A & B.

I was attempting to get the Alpine to hand out the address. I'm still in the beta phase of our Vlan implementation. This leads me to two questions:
Does the Alpine have an issue handing out addresses?
How does NT communicate with the system at the end of a port-based Vlan to send a address...

I have an Alpine 3800. I have setup a VLan with DHCP enabled. Duplicate address are being handed out after the first person logged in. I have messed with the Lease expiration but could not set it higher than 3600 (secs). I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem...
