My friend and her husband added a 2nd phone line which only runs to their PC at one jack. They want to get DSL and install themselves. How can they connect that 2nd phone line to their first, so they can cancel the 2nd line when they order the DSL? Thanks.

Works fine; no modification necessary.

The range is usually 125 to 150' and they work best on single line applications, because user has to return to phone to answer other lines or transfer call. If customer needs full function, a Transtalk wireless multiline display phone would be better and does work with Partner.
