    Actually issue is finally resolved. Another issue now, for some reason the aic7xxx mod is not loading on boot up. It had to manually be started with insmod and then I ran kudzu and it detected my hardware...

    I am having an issue getting Linux to detect a DELL PowerVault 100T DDS4 tape drive. The OS sees the SCSI controller card but not the tape drive. I've ran kudzu, checked dmesg, hwconf and its just not there. Any suggestions? Please and thanks -denise

    Forgot logon password

    I forgot my password to logon to my pc. The only profile is myself, no guest so I can not get into my pc unless I have the password. Is there a way to skip the login screen, XP has all these new security features. Until then I am unable to use my pc...unless I somehow remember the password...
