I got it!!! Put in a web cam that is focused directly on the led of the phone. Write an asp script that will take the web cam output and make it "blink" on a web page. WOW !!! Version 2.0 would give web control to the blink rate! Hey .... what about writing some flash animation .... This...
If the phone had a firmware version 1.61 or earlier and your TFTP server had a version later than the 1.61 your phone will try to upgrade when it boots. If this was you enviroment the phone will no longer be functional. Upgrade ANY 4630 set to version 1.61 THEN upgrade to the latest version...
You are missing the 46xxsetting.scr file. Download it from Avaya and then you should be able to get the phone to work. Also remember there is a firmware version specific to a 4630 set, make sure you use that one.
Hope this helps

What you have is an IP Office. It's the replacemnet for the Magix system. It will do 64XX, 44XX, 46XX series phones, Ip trunks, analog. Its a PBX in a box. The Avaya web site should have info on it.
Thanks
Chris
I have used both, VPN and a terminal server. Both work great. I did have to play with the settings on the terminal server to drop the telnet session when I drop the PC connection. After I figured this out no problems.

IP softphone is support with NAT. There is a patch you need to request from Avaya that allows the soft phone to work with NAT. Hope this helps

No problem. Just replace music with ringback and you'll get your desired result. Oh by the way... the caller will be answered as soon as a person becomes avalibale, IE: the person doe not need to wiat 60 seconds. The wait step only gives additional call handling treatment.

You need to provide the caller audio while they wait. I would modify to something like this:
01 goto step 11 if time-of-day is fri 18:00 to mon 08:00
02 goto step 11 if time-of-day is all 18:00 to all 08:00
03 goto step 11 if staffed-agents in skill 2 < 1
04 queue-to skill 2 pri l...
Data Module will not work. Depending on your switch version you can use an analog port or and aux trunk. Use the command "change system features", go to mucis on hold field. Enter a spare analog port location. If it accepts it your system will work with analog. If not you will...
Find out what the trunk access code is for the trunk. Do the command " list trace tac {trunk TAC Code}. This should give you some clues. The dialed digits are the digits the LEC are sending you.

Some vendors reserve interface ID 0 and 1 for the primary and secondary d-channels. The vendor providing your ISDN can tell you what they have the interface ID's set to. However I would try and set the second T-1 (04a18)with B channels to interface ID 1.
Also make sure on the DS-1 form has the...
You have a R10 so use the command "change ethernet" and lock the ethernet ports on the Definity to the speeds etc to match the Cisco switch. There are many problems with auto-negotation in this enviroment.
Thanks

C-Lan is for call control, link to adjuncts, switch admin ect. MAPD is for ASAI (CTI) applications for an ajunct link to an external host. Usually used for CentreVu-CT for a TSAPI application.

On the Intuity Yes , on the Definity No, activate it on the hunt group form. FYI Turning on the feature on the Intuity does require a stop and restart.
Thanks

If you have 3 logged in and get the error I suspect you have a G3si. The are 5 logins (TUI) allowed at the same time. However one is reserved for the Inads port, one is reserved for the SAT port on the back of the PBX the remaining 3 can be accessed remotely. Hope this helps
Thanks
