This formula is giving me a "bad date-time format string" when I run the report, but shows no errors when checking the formula:
if isnull({HDCAllCases.Closed Date}) then
CurrentDateTime else
datetimevalue({HDCAllCases.Closed Date})
Any ideas?
I was importing 14,000 records using Remedy Import. It was going great until the last 2000, then I got the following error "Failure during SQL operation to the database -- ORA-01653: unable to extend table ARADMIN. T238 by 45 in tablespace AR_DATA (ARERR 552)". I couldn't find anything wrong or...
The database has name of the person as one field, then the list of their pcs as another multi-value field. I would like to have the report split the multi-value field and repeat the name of the owner. For example, if I have 3 pcs, instead of my name once with 3 machine names in the other field I...
I cannot successfully open any ODBCs I created for Lotus Notes databases. When I select the ODBC, it doesn't seem to refer to the server or any other information from the ODBC I created. When I open a report written against a Lotus Notes ODBC, it requests a User Name and PW, and it doesn't...
I have a few Lotus Notes databases that I run reports against. Sometimes I click preview and Crystal just closes, no messages either. I have Crystal Reports 8 Professional. Is this a known issue?
To update everyone, it wasn't just a problem through Crystal. Through Excel, the tables were invisible. We ended up rebuilding the database. I believe the original database install was the problem. Thank you everyone for your comments!
I have created a SQL ODBC Connection to a database, which tests successfully. However, when I try to create a report, Crystal doesn't find the database when I click on the ODBC connection. When I select the ODBC, it returns "...no items found...". I have Crystal 8. The database is HP Systems...
I checked under Options and Tables, Views are selected. I can get to the server, then I can select the table I am looking for as the default. The ODBC connection uses my NT login/pw for authentification. Am I missing a data dictionary? or maybe something missing from the database itself?

Reebo,
I was just informed that I need to download the Enterprise 8 Service Pack, then add what you mentioned.
Thanks for your help! Couldn't have gotten this far without your help!
It hasn't worked yet. I open a guest page, close out without logging out, then open up the administrator account in the Management Console, where it shows 2 accounts logged in. It still takes 20 minutes before it changes to 1 account logged in. I only have one Web Component Server. Thank you for...
I followed the directions above and the server still seems to be keeping licenses occupied for 20 mins after the browser is just closed. Could there more than one location where changes need made?
Five concurrent licenses came with Enterprise 8. If someone closes their browser without logging out, it ties up a license for what appears to be 30 minutes. Is there somewhere I can edit this and log off idle licenses within 5 minutes?
Just installed Crystal Enterprise 8 Standard. Testing running reports I created, added a report that pulls data from Remedy. It keeps requesting my logon info for the Remedy ODBC, I enter it, requests logon info again. Looked at Instance report, error is "Cannot open SQL server."...
