Hi
You will find these settings in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER. What if you create two registry files that both contain the sshortdate value but with different data. I am not sure if this will work but you could try to you create a cmd-file to start the application. Make the first...
Hi
On all terminal servers that are in application server mode there is a script called usrlogon.cmd that is executed when all users log on remotely. This should not be moved. If you want to you can use this to execute commmands for users when they logon but you cannot replace it with another...
This is now solved. It was actually caused by the autorecover setting in a GPO. The autorecover setting was enabled and the path H:\ was defined. Had to change this to an UNC path instead then it worked. Thanks for your tips.

I have now been able to temporarily move the server to an OU that is only affected by default domain policy in the root of the domain and when I do that it works so it seems that it is definitely a GPO that is causing this. I have also been able to create a GP Results report of all GPO settings...
Hi
Well since I don't have full domain admin rights i haven't been able to test without any GPOs at all, I have just been able to disable the GPO for Citrix and that doesn't make any difference. I am going to check that further. I have been looking at the auto recover function and we have that...
We have all the admin templates imported in our Citrix GPO but we haven't been able to figure out what settings that may be causing this since it does not seem to be the Citrix policy that is the problem. I have tried to go through the policy but there are more than a few settings to check. I...
Hi

Hi
Have you tried using Filemon and Regmon (or use Process Monitor to get both in one tool) from Sysinternals to try and log on what files or registry entries that you get access denied to?

Hi
You could be vulnerable to these new worms that spread through USB sticks. We had an outbreak on a few fileservers caused by client drive mapping after a user had an infected USB stick in his client computer and that spread through the ICA stream in to the LAN. Even though updated the AV the...
Hi

Hi
You have to enable this in one more place. In PN choose menu Tools - ICA Settings. On the General tab check both settings "Pass-Through Authentication" and "Use local credentials to log on"
After this you should be able to configure the settings on the application set or custom application.

Hi
Maybe you could try with the two tools Filemon and Regmon and see if there are any permission issues or try to trace where the application is trying to write.

Hi
I have seen tips with registry values to change that are supposed to disable the creation of that icon but they don't seem to work. Just create a small batch script that deletes the file when the user logs in. Configure the script as a log on script in the GPO.
