I've read most of the manual, is there certain section you are talking about? I have spent a lot of time reading, but I'm no VSS expert. I haven't seen anything that says you can't run a continuos job and take snapshots (if thats what you meant?). I do run a continous job but snapshots are...
The reason I feel like they should be more help is, they built their product on top of VSS, if this is a common problem, as the Tech mentioned by the number of cases reported, then they should have tested it more before they released it. Or at least help me figure out where to begin.
I don't...
Ok, I talked to tech support and they offer no help in this situation. Its a problem with Microsoft Shadow copy and they said I need to contact them. They basically washed their hands of it. The Tech told me that he's had three reported cases of this today, if you were thinking about using...
The error I get in the event log is
"Logical drive D: fell below threshold of 801.33 MB. The current value is 740.00 MB." Source is the "Director Agent".

I was just thinking that when we have someone doing user administration, they have have to remember to move the the User from the OU and change the security groups. I guess I was...
I've read in a few books that a good practice is to create your users, place them in a group and place the groups in an OU where you would apply the GPO. So far I can't get the GPO to work unless I put the user directly in the OU. If I do it like the book says, users in groups, groups in the...
Can you bind the remote agent to a particular nic on the remote server? For example, if both the remote and media servers were using two nic's. While reading the instructions, it looks like you can only specify a nic on the media server.
I have a similar setup with 2 gig switches. I had to add a static route in the hosts file because the server couldn't access the DNS server from the secondary network.
