There isn't an answering service. i have started a log. so far it seems callers get the correct greeting before 9:00 am, between 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm. and after 4:00 pm.
One of our retirement homes has a KX-NS1000. They are having a weird problem. Certain times during the day, callers to their room extensions get a generic greeting (ext. xxxx please leave a message) The rest of the time they get the proper greetings setup by the resident.

I found the answer. Press the flash button, wait for dial tone and dial *50. This puts the 1st call on hold and you get the 2nd call. You can use this code for switching back and forth.
We have a Retirement home with a KX-TDE600. The residents have analog KX-T7716 telephones. They would like to know if there is an easier way of answering a second call (call waiting) than having to entering the long code.
We have a school with M7310 telephones in each room. They would like to lock the telephone so the students cannot use them. The teachers would like a code to unlock the telephone to make calls.
Feature 936 is supposed to be the set lock code but we get inactive feature.

They do not have DISA lines. I have not been able recreate the problem.But after talking with tech support, i have been informed that some cable tv companies do not supply disconnect supervision. If the outside caller hangs up first the PBX doesn't see the disconnect. It has only been happening...
I have a customer with a TDA30, 4 digital phones & 2 analog lines from a cable modem that keep locking up. Customer has to disconnect lines from the modem to clear the lines.
