In 2003 and presumably other versions - if you set your time scale to show say week numbers - all is well until you zoom in or out. The time scale goes back to the starting scale. Is there any way to stop this. We use this timescale all the time. Many thanks for any help here Missedit

Can you use GetNetText to load a rtf file into a director project. I can get it to load a txt file into a window[ text file holds latest data viewer needs] but when I try with rtf file I just get header code for document. Any help much appreciated.

I need to open a pdf file from a folder on the cd. I have no problems with that -but can you do it if you have different pdfs in the folder say "materials" but the file name will be different depending on which set of notes you are burning to the cd. Filename could be word.pdf or access.pdf...

When you create the projector, if you go to the options and untick Show title Bar the movie will play in its own window. Hope this helps.

I have a movie that works perfeclty well when viewed in Director (MX2004). However, when it is played as a project an error Director Player error - Symbol expected <void> comes on screen. If you click yes to continue the whole works perfectly well. Any ideas? Thanks for help

Thanks it now works - everything was wriiten as you said and files were in correct place - only problem is that when run it as a projector get a script error on screen - but it works. Also new to MX2004 how do you stop close max buttons appearing - used to be a check box for that. Many thanks...

Actually this doesn't work. It keeps stopping at this line openFile(gtitle, the moviepath & "course" & i & ".txt", 1) says it expects a text string. Thanks for any help here Phil
