    So what is this red blink of death? (Where the treo starts blinking red until the battery is drained). And how does it know to start blinking and draining my battery at the worst time? Has the problem been solved? Should I ask for my money back?

    Same thing for me. I have three PC's and three cradles. One of them has just stopped working, after having worked for a couple of years. I have tried it with a different cradle (I have lots) and with a "travel" synch, no difference. I am going to take it to one of my other offices...
