    Hi if you have recently installed Windows 2003 SP1 see KB892500 on the Microsoft website. It cured my problem also see thread under AD2006.

    To beholder95 the answer seems to be to add the bkexec user to the COM Security tab as detailed in kb892500 then stop and restart the bkexec services on all servers and remotes. Regards AD2006

    I've been checking out this and tried a few things check out KB892500 and KB873164 I think it's to do with DCOM permissions but I won't know until tomorrow if it worked or not. Why is every time you service pack something it breaks half a dozen more things.

    I installed SP1 on Windows 2003 server yesterday and last nights backup failed to back up any remote agents it's probably down to enhanced?? security features in 2003 any ideas what's got broken and how to fix it. Thanks AndyD
