In theory it should be a straightforward swap out to new multiplexers, in practise it's never that easy...
I haven't done a BIMs swap yet, but I have swapped out old Muxes for RADs without issue.
Hello,
When an extension calls a mobile phone the CLI of the extension is displayed.
If an extension calls anopther extension, but has a divert to mobile phone, then the CLI of the main number is displayed and not the CLI of either extension.
Can someone explain why this is?
Thank you :o)
This has become too difficult to work out with the limited information from ALEX about terminators on the bus and new style cards. We have sourced an LBP20 for our ELU31/1's and so we have no issue any more. All cards will go in the same magazine and we will loop the tx/rx on the first board...
Thanks Doktor,
We have changed the scenario slightly. We want to use ELU31/3 in the old magazine. Now, we need the bus cable 901 1227, but what about Sync for the first board and terminator for these new style boards?
I appreciate your help :)
Hi,
My customer has some ELU31/1 cards (R2C) for use in a /50 cabinet.
There will be three cards, all in the same magazine. What do I need to do for sync and bus?
Many thanks
Bit premature there mdevo, we don't know how it's configured. It might be over ICU board or something. It could be the network or cabling between onebox and MX.
Although I have seen this before and have to remove/reinitiate, but also RFEXI does make it work too. His case RFEXI doesn't make...
What protocol does the Avaya support? If it supports SIP then I would suggest a gateway of some sort. We have used Quintum succesfully.
ISDN from TSW to Quintum and then SIP to the Avaya.
That works fine, no problem. But I have a lazy operator that doesn't want to keep pressing buttons. She wants a key that sets and removes.
Thaks for you help so far :o)
I'm being an idiot here, I'm sure.
Why can't I get a follow me onto and ADN?
Handset 7967, it "owns" the ADN 1556 which I want to forward to voicemail 1600.
I tried *2*1556*1600# and it doesn't work.
Any ideas please?
Here's something one of my lads put together:

Any batteries can be used, as long as the total in the string is 48v. If you want longer time, use smaller voltage batteries with higher capacity. You will require more space though.
