i couldn’t find anything concrete so i just did a workaround. i append all unique AccountNo's to a table, give them a GroupNo. with an Update Query, then i update my SubForm from that Table. Joe

but i have already a startup form, and i think i could only do one form at start up. but then there is another solution, to do an AutoExec Macro, which is the same idea... i just thought that its possible to do just like in excel. Thanks Joe
