    Well more searching and the backup now works...kind of!!!~ Backing up anything from the C drive works fine.. Backing up anything from a different drive just no matter how big the file it still does the same size of 4928kb....does this help with anything??

    compression is enabled yes and yes i have done the latter as well. still the same :(

    we are using V10 and I have gone into the setup wizard even to check that nothing is wrong and I still have this same problem. I am backing up a file that is 20meg as a test. Everytime I run the job however it always runs fine and finishes the job at 4928KB which is obviously not right. No...
