Host file is not the answer

I lied, it was the answer.... Is there any way for the host file to get wiped out? Because I checked it three times yesterday and it was configured properly. I checked again today, and the entry for the client on the server was gone. Oh well. Always the host file then... Thanks

Host file is not the answer

Do I need a domain trust relationship? I don't think so, but I'm out of answers. On the Networker server, Networker Administrator, Operations, Set Up Server, Administrator box: user=administrator,host=server.citrix.corp

Host file is not the answer

I am running Networker Server 7.0 Build 322 on Windows 2000 Server, the client is running 6.1.3 on Windows 2003 Active Directory. The server is in an NT domain and the client is in a separate AD domain. I've tried upgrading the client to 7.1.2, but I am not upgrading the server because a...

    Particular Tapes

My company has a Dell Powervault 128T. A customer wants their own dedicated set of tapes, say 3 tapes. Is there a way to configure Legato to only use those three tapes say for a particular group of servers? Thanks, John

    Number of Tapes

Thanks Maverick. Currently, I do the Full Every Friday schedule, incremental every other day. Yeah, I was forced to do that with the outstanding amount of data coming in. I haven't explored the cloning/staging options yet - probably because it seems that I need a separate tape library system...

    Number of Tapes

I had a question about backups. My company uses a Dell 128T Tape Library system, it has an LTO 1 drive and tapes, 100 native/200 compressed per tape. We do about 13 tapes per week, so about 2.6 Terabytes. My cheap company only bought 4 weeks of tapes, so every 5th week we recycle. What do...
